CRBCC DOMESTIC & INTERNATIONAL SMALL BUSINESS AND CONSUMER MARKET DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS

Integrating African & American markets, CRBCC Advisory Board Membership Service provides best practices research, decision support tools, and executive education to a US Small Business and Democratic Republic of Congo Government leadership as well as the CRBCC strategic partners, and associate members of the world's leading organizations, governments, corporations, program initiatives (ie. The Medical Capacity Building Program, Global Water Program, etc..) and not-for-profit institutions.

Our research addresses issues related to the DRC development strategy, government strategy, corporate strategy, operations, and general management. We focus on identifying management initiatives, processes, tools, and frameworks that allow our members to avoid reinventing the wheel in addressing problems they share in common with their peers. Our mission is to increase the effectiveness of the CRBCC Strategic Partner executives and their enterprises by discovering and teaching to this membership the best new thinking and strategies from across industry and around the world.

The CRBCC Advisory Board operates over 50 distinct membership programs that provide it’s membership with on-demand management consulting from across a number of practice areas such as a Healthcare Services practice, Financial Services practice, Human Resource practice, Strategy and R&D practice, Sales and Marketing practice, Information Technology practice, Corporate Finance practice, Legal and Administration practice, Operation & Procurement practice, Education Services practice, Government Services Practice and Business Incubator Practice.

CRBCC Community Services

Many potential individual and community-wide initiatives that would be inspiring and life-changing often go unrealized because there is not enough dialogue, planning or strategies for implementation. What often is needed is simply an appropriate infrastructure that helps information, ideas and resources circulate among members of a learning community or of a local neighborhood. Developing this infrastructure is a critical part of establishing an individual's intellectual praxis and building up a community’s organizational capacity. Individuals and communities need the capacity to discuss, interpret and address the changes that are going on around them in a way that promotes renewal and ongoing development.

Dr. Shaw, Dr. Carter and myself ongoing work continues to involve using technology to address issues concerning education, social justice and community building. CRBCC is presently implementing programs in the DRC concerning the following important subject areas that revolve around the following themes:

1. Cooperative Learning Circles
2. Cultural Epistemology
3. E-Learning
4. Games for Mathematical Understanding
5. Improvisation and Collaboration in MetaCognition
6. Intellectual Praxis
7. Learning Through Social Apprenticeships
8. Neighborhood Information Infrastructure for Community Building and Social Empowerment
9. Social Constructionism as it relates to Epistemology and Pedagogy
10. Urban Tele-Medicine addressing chronic disease areas such as diabetes, HIV-AIDS, Asthma, etc…
11. Distance learning and mentoring support in the areas of Healthcare & Education in the DRC.

These are designed and delivered through business driven models as integrated components to the Chamber’s domestic and international development projects, not social welfare or patronage practices.
